As financial advisers we offer independent and impartial advice, and offer products and providers from the whole of the market. We are not restricted to any particular products or providers.

We provide advice in a range of financial areas including pensions, Investments, mortgages, protection, tax, and later life planning. All advice provided is in the best interests of the client, and meets all necessary FCA regulations.

AIt is important to understand the fees and charges you may pay for advice, and also at what point you will need to pay these. Our initial consultations are free, and we will disclose our fee structure with you during the first consultation.

You may have the option to pay a one-off fee or you may pay a regular fee if the advice is on an ongoing basis. Fees may alter depending on the nature of the advice you require, but these will be stated clearly for you before you make any decisions.

You may have the option to pay the fee directly, or have it taken from your initial investment. We may also accept payment in instalments if you have a regular ongoing advice, depending on the nature of your investments.

The services firms offer can vary, from meeting very simple needs such as investing in an individual savings account (ISA), to full financial planning, or arranging a mortgage.

Our advisers will consider all of your needs and recommend a plan to help you meet your financial goals over your lifetime.

For some specialised areas (such as transferring out from a defined benefit pension scheme) some advisers may not have the necessary qualifications to provide all of the advice you need, so they may outsource some of the advice to another firm which does. We do not outsource any of our advice!

We provide professional independent advice on areas of finance including:

  • Pensions
  • Investments
  • Mortgages
  • Protection
  • Tax planning
  • Later life planning

After a consultation we will be able to gain a picture of your attitude to risk and explain how each recommendation or product fits with this.

If you think you are prepared to take more or less risk than is advised, you can ask us to explain how we identified your risk profile and whether it should be changed.

Advice can be provided in different ways, it can be provided face to face, on the phone, via email or in a written report.

In every case we will provide you with an outline of our recommendations, in the form of a suitability report, so that you understand why we’ve recommend a particular plan or product.

As well as providing an initial recommendation, we can also offer an ongoing service with periodical reviews and updates.

This might be an annual review to check the value of your investments and consider any changes to your circumstances.
